      MANNY !!  MANNY!!  MANNY!!  Goes the thundering voice of Gensanians. You can hear this all over,  anywhere every time Manny Pacquiao is fighting. Everyone cheers and everyone's eyes fixed on the big screen of a tv or any monitor seeing the boxer's every move. Manny  has been the idol of many especially those who wanted much to change their lives from living  too much poverty to being wealthy.

  

     Yes, Manny's life been open to public that he belongs to a poor family but now, everything changes. He is already a millionaire.  His achievements in the field of boxing made him  wealthy and he shares it to his siblings  and family.  But even how rich he is now, he is still humble and still has his faith in God. Everyone noticed him making sign of the cross before every  fight and kneeling on the corner of  the canvass ring. This attitude, made us loved and liked him more. Here in General Santos City, everybody watched Manny's fight and it's true that whenever he has a fight, the streets of Gensan were so silent, no vehicle nor person  roaming around.  Everybody is in front of their tv sets or any monitor that shows the event, all focus to every move he does. Every blow of his fist, may it right or left is religiously counted and much more on how many times the opponent been down or knocked down.

   To recall, I saw Manny in almost all his fights because my beloved husband-Medy is a great fan of him. No boxing episodes missed. He has all the tapes, cd's and dvd's of Manny's fight  from beginning up to present.  He always watched the fights and even replayed it   many times. There are times too that neighbors watched with him  as if they were not bored of watching those boxing replays.  One event I saw Manny dropped in canvass and it's his first loss against Rustico Torrecampo-1996. He got loss also of Thailand match with 3K Battery because of too much exhaustion in losing weights. I ask  my husband why exhausted when he was being  trained and my husband let me understand that  Manny is already too exhausted when he appeared for the fight because he need to loss weight  as he surpassed the weight needed on that Flyweight division.  Hmmm...I just don't know much  on how much weight you have to put on  in every division. But after that loss,  almost all of Manny's fight were victorious.. I have some photos of Manny  fights.

  And now, Manny,  the boxing legend will fight again  and this is against Shane Mosley.  He will be fighting for super welterweight title.  Mosley is known for his speed, fast movement and fast punching power and Manny have this abilities too. Both boxers will exchange blows and power  punches as best as they can on May 7, 2011 at MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas. Everybody waited for this event to come and this is a great day  for both Manny and Mosley  and also for all Filipinos who liked and loved Manny most.. Wishes and hopes for Manny to win this fight . May 7, 2011 at MGM Grand Garden Arena , Las Vegas was already  marked by all boxing enthusiasts.  May God bless Manny .
